WP 6:Evaluation of the optimum energy product material and fabrication of a prototype magnet.

In this WP the nanoparticle powders will be aligned and compacted at room temperature to form a “green compact”. This compact will be consolidated at low temperatures (preferably below 700 oC) to form a magnet with a density close to that of bulk samples. The target here is a prototype magnet with energy product higher than 100 kJ/m3 and Curie temperature greater than 300 oC.

The main tasks of the WP6 are 6.1. Fabrication of 1 gr prototype magnet based on the materials with the highest energy product and 6.2. Estimation of the magnetic properties, (Hc, Ms and Curie temperature), of the corresponded prototype.
