WP1: Project Management

Description of Work: Graduate students, and one post doctorate positions in the field of Materials Science or Chemistry would be hired. Appropriate training of the students in chemical laboratory safety issues, following with the scientific training that has to do with liquid phase reactions for the synthesis of colloidal particles, separation and purification of colloidal particles, and finally scientific characterization of the crystal structure of nanomaterials using X-ray diffraction and Mossbauer spectroscopy measurements, of their magnetic properties using VSM and SQUID,  estimation of their size and morphology using TEM studies. Monitoring of the project finance. Authorship of intermediate and final reports.
